Eating disorders aren’t cured…they’re managed. Those struggling with eating issues of any kind will need to learn how to communicate with their bodies to ultimately free themselves from the thoughts and behaviors associated with disordered eating. Connecting to the body not only means the physical body…it means the 'emotional body', the 'spiritual body' and ultimately allowing the 'mental body' to rest while the body works with it in unison to form balance. While we work on decreasing symptoms and recover nutritional balance we also work with underlying emotions and feelings to re-circuit the behavior.
Try taking this quiz if you're concerned that you or someone you know has an eating disorder.
